  31. Yes, obviously old copies of MS-DOS Kermit are kicking around, even on the
  32. Kermit FTP site.  But no, we don't want you to give up on Kermit 95 after
  33. you bought it, because we don't take your money without standing behind our
  34. work.

  36. Secondly, an old copy of MS-DOS Kermit is not necessarily going to work in
  37. Windows (there tend to be issues with the clock).  In many cases, a new copy

  44. In any case, I doubt very much that I will be unable to resolve any problem
  45. that Kermit 95 has transferring files with an old version of Kermit that was
  46. able to transfer files with an old version of MS-DOS Kermit.  My original

  51. The most likely reason for the trouble is "control-character unprefixing",
  52. an performance enhancement that was first introduced about ten (10) years
  53. ago.  Some Kermit programs, contrary to the protocol specification, are not
  54. able to accept bare control characters as file data.  The workaround is very
  55. simple -- tell the sending Kermit program (K95 in this case) to:
